Clinic Etiquette

To obtain your preferred appointment day and time, we ask that you book well in advance. We will always do our best to accommodate your schedule, however, in instances where we cannot, we can add you to our priority list, which is checked daily if cancellations occur. To secure your appointment, we do require a booking deposit, which can be used as a partial or full prepayment for your treatment on the day.

Please allow plenty of time to arrive for your appointment. If you arrive late, we will do our best to provide a full and thorough service. As a courtesy to the next patient, however, your appointment will still finish at the originally scheduled time. This means that you have less time for your treatments, and in some cases we may not be able to complete your booked treatment and you may need to reschedule at extra cost.

Please note that due to limitations on space in the clinic treatment rooms and reception, limitations with staff and for safety reasons during your treatment, we cannot offer child-minding or supervision during your appointment. Please make suitable arrangements for child care for your appointment time. Failure to do so may impact our ability to perform your treatment on the day of your appointment. Thank you.

Our payment system at the clinic charges a surcharge for payments taken through the EFTPOS machine. When inserting your card and entering your pin for savings or debit payments, the surcharge is $0.30c. If you choose to pay via credit account or credit card, AMEX, Afterpay or tap and pay, this surcharge is equal to 1.6% of the total transaction. Please ask reception staff if you have any queries or questions surrounding payment for your appointment.

Cancellations and Booking Fees

We appreciate that life has been a little tricky over the last few years. However, whilst we would like to remain lenient, over time last minute cancellations have increased and continue to significantly impact our business. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to adjust and reinstate our cancellation policy, and wanted to provide advance notice.

 

Cancellation Policy Terms:

Card details and a booking deposit are required at the time of booking to secure all appointments. All booking deposits are non-refundable and can be redeemed against treatment undertaken, or booked, on the day.

We will send you a text message reminder confirming your appointment 48 hours prior. Please confirm your appointment, or use the link in the message to reschedule. There is also a reschedule link in your booking confirmation email.

If you reschedule your appointment via this link your booking deposit will transfer to your new appointment time. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. This will be applied to your account and will be added to your next appointment charge. If you are absent at the time of your appointment, or a ‘no show’, then you will be charged the full amount of your treatment.

In an extenuating circumstance, such as flu-like symptoms or a positive COVID19 result, your booking deposit will be applied as a credit to your account, for redemption within 30 days (treatment only).

Refund Policy:

As there is no guarantee with medical procedures it is essential that the patient understands procedures are not an exact science. Every human body is different and may react differently. Whatever the outcome, the product and or service has been provided, and it is therefore not possible for Dr Tranter Aesthetics or the consulting doctor/therapist to refund procedure fees. This is non-negotiable. Dr Tranter Aesthetics will make every reasonable effort to achieve the aesthetic outcome the patient requests, however no guarantees are offered in relation to the effects of any procedure performed.

In the event of dissatisfaction with any treatment or procedure performed at Dr Tranter Aesthetics, an in-person consultation is required to review the results and discuss next steps with you.
