Please avoid alcohol and taking any medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, Ginko Biloba, or Ginseng in the few days prior to your appointment as this will help minimise bruising. To ensure high safety standards a thorough medical and medication history will be taken prior to treatment.

Any cosmetic or surgical treatment carries inherent risks and potential complications. The benefit of seeing a doctor is that all these factors will be discussed with you thoroughly before treatment. If you have any questions, you can discuss any aspect of your treatment with our doctor. Common side effects include bleeding, bruising, swelling, redness.

Rare side effects include lumps, bumps, infection, skin discolouration and vascular occlusion(blocked blood vessel leading to permanent tissue damage).

This all depends on the treatment you’re having!

Anti-wrinkle results can take up to 2 weeks to reach their maximum effect, while dermal filler results can be seen immediately. However, we recommend 2-4 weeks after fillers to assess their final result, to allow time for swelling and healing to occur.

With collagen inducing treatments (such as Morpheus8 and microneedling) the results can take 4-12 weeks and best results are seen with an initial course of treatment and then maintenance treatments as per your treatment plan.

With IPL results can been seen over 7-14 days, and repeat treatments may be needed.

Again, this depends on the treatment.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know your concerns, these are often things that just need reassurance. However, in some cases there are things that require urgent attention and we are not able to review and assist if we don’t know about it!

Yes, we have a cancellation policy in place. You will receive an appointment reminder 72 hours before your appointment, if you need to change or cancel please let us know in a timely manner, otherwise cancellation fees apply.

Dr Tranter Aesthetics doctors and therapists reserve the right to cease the clinic /patient relationship at any time. In this case, the patient will be offered alternative doctors/therapists/clinic to continue their treatments.

Dr Tranter Aesthetics does not accept all patients for treatment. Some patients are unsuitable for the procedures performed. We reserve the right to decline or cancel further management of any patient if in the clinical opinion of the medical practitioner the patient is unsuited for further care. In the circumstance Dr Tranter Aesthetics would like to cease the care of our patients, we will refer the patient to another clinic. Dr Tranter Aesthetics offers no guarantee or warranty that any procedure will benefit the patient or have guaranteed outcomes. As a patient at Dr Tranter Aesthetics, you acknowledge that there is no guarantee of results for any procedure. Whilst every effort is made to achieve desired outcomes you as the patient understand that these are not guaranteed.

As there is no guarantee with medical procedures it is essential that the patient understands procedures are not an exact science. Every human body is different and may react differently. Whatever the outcome, the product and or service has been provided, and it is therefore not possible for Dr Tranter Aesthetics or the consulting doctor/therapist to refund procedure fees. This is non-negotiable. Dr Tranter Aesthetics will make every reasonable effort to achieve the aesthetic outcome the patient requests, however no guarantees are offered in relation to the effects of any procedure performed.

In the event of dissatisfaction with any treatment or procedure performed at Dr Tranter Aesthetics, an in-person consultation is required to review the results and discuss next steps with you.
